Who are we?
Life Church Lutterworth is a vibrant and growing evangelical Christian church located in the centre of the town.
We are a Bible-based church made up of ordinary people, of all ages, who love Jesus and want to share the good news of the Gospel in our town and communities.
We acknowledge none of us are perfect and are all a work-in-progress, but as a church family we are committed to following Jesus and living out our lives honouring to Him.
“May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1: 12)
We believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
We would love to welcome you on a Sunday morning at 10.30am, when we meet each week to worship the Lord together and listen to His Word. You will find a warm welcome and a great atmosphere.
Background
Life Church Lutterworth was established in August 2024 by several Christian families who have lived in the town for over 20 years and felt called by the Lord to plant an evangelical church in the town. This followed several years of careful prayer and consideration and asking the Lord for His direction.
During 2023 several prayer meetings were held and a prayer walk took place in the town, seeking the Lord’s guidance in relation to a church in Lutterworth. In August 2023, the Lord miraculously opened the door to an existing church building in the town, which had become available following the closure of the existing church. The closure of the church took place in November 2023 and those involved in the church plant sought to negotiate a lease for the building. The lease was completed in June 2024 and on receiving the keys the team set about to transform the inside of the church by redecorating, new carpets, ordering new chairs and freshening the building up. Life Church Lutterworth held its first service on Sunday 11 August 2024.
